Do you have a teenager who needs help with a drug or alcohol problem? Are you looking for a solution that works? Managed Care Center may be that solution.
Our Intensive Youth Treatment Program was designed and tailored to the needs of at-risk 13 to 17 year old teenagers with alcohol and drug problems. Often times, our youth clients come to us by way of alternate schools, Child Protective Services, Probation Departments, and even our own Prevention Programs. We have heard their cries for help and are prepared to step in and support them in every way possible.
Led by one of our trained counselors who specializes in working with at-risk teens, the Managed Care Center Intensive Youth Treatment Program is ten weeks in duration with classes available Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with an optional Family Group weekly session. The program also includes one-on-one weekly counseling sessions and extended Relapse Prevention work that is available until the client becomes 18 years old.
Some of the topics covered in the program include:
- Substance Use vs. Addiction
- Marijuana Dependence
- Understanding Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency
- Risk Factors and the Stages of Addiction and Change
- Prescription Drugs
- The Consequences of Use
- Health Related Consequences
Because the Intensive Youth Treatment Program is focused toward a complete solution, the following Life Skills training is included:

- Learning to Trust
